firsthand how unchecked assumptions, overconfidence, and a lack of accountability can lead
organizations—regardless of their size—down a dangerous path. Here are key points every CEO,
developer, and data scientist should consider:

Too often, teams believe their models are free from bias because they’ve completed “bias
checks” or used training data that seems balanced. The reality is that most datasets carry hidden
